Security Alliance accepted on to G-Cloud 8

Security Alliance is proud to announce that it has been successfully accepted onto G-Cloud 8, the Government’s procurement framework for cloud computing services.

The G-Cloud framework aims to promote government-wide adoption of cloud services, simplify the procurement process for buyers and level the playing field for suppliers.

G-Cloud 8 (G8) services went live on August 1st and has attracted the highest number of new suppliers of any previous iteration of the framework.

Services are divided into 4 categories, or ‘lots’: Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Software as a Service and Specialist Cloud Services. Services from Security Alliance are available in Lot 4: Specialist Cloud Services. The services you can find on the Digital Marketplace are:

• CREST STAR Engagements
• Cyber Threat Intelligence Assessments
• ThreatMatch – Threat Monitoring Portal

John Beale, Managing Director of Security Alliance comments: “We are thrilled to be accepted on to the G-Cloud 8 framework. With spending reaching over £1bn and nearly 800 new suppliers on the latest iteration, 94% of which are SMEs, the public sector now has access to a much wider range of more flexible cloud services.

“As cyber threats are increasing, it’s important for public sector departments to have the same easy access to innovative and intelligent security services. We’re very excited to be a part of such a positive movement.”
