Penetration Tester – Cyber Threat Intelligence

Security Alliance is a world leading Cyber Threat Intelligence company providing Threat Intelligence Consultancy and Monitoring Services. As a specialist CTI provider working on regulator led Threat Assessments we have some unique, large, complex, interesting and thoroughly brilliant clients.

The primary role of the Reconnaissance Consultant is to create 'targeting reports' and technical profiling of our clients. This work predominately supports the Threat Assessments, Attack Scenario Generation and Threat Monitoring. The role is incredibly interesting and requires an inquisitive mind, attention to detail, high levels of technical capability and an 'attackers mindset'.

Though the primary role is to support Intelligence Operations the position also allows (dependent on skillset) a variety of other opportunities. These include, toolset development, Independent Research, Internal Penetration Testing and the possibility of some (but limited) external client testing (skillset dependent).

The role will give you the opportunity to work with some truly brilliant people, in an environment where we all work hard for each other and drive to provide the very highest quality products available in the market. The role will be split between the office in HereEast and home working; though some (if limited) travel is required.

Though there is a minimum of 2 years' experience required for the role, the main requirements are that the individual is personable, skilled, driven, inventive, and creative. It does not matter where you are in your career; at the beginning, the end or somewhere in the middle; this is a great role for a tester who wants some diversity in their day to day.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Penetration tester
  • An industry recognized testing certification (E.g. OSCP, Tiger Scheme, SANS, CREST)
  • Experience creating own scripts and tools
  • Experience working with well known commercial testing frameworks / toolset / platforms
  • Be able to demonstrate wider Cyber Security knowledge
