Duration: Permanent, Full time
The Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Head of Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence. This role will involve providing analytical support to our core ThreatMatch team as well as conducting research on active cyber threat actors and campaigns. The role will be predominantly remote but will require infrequent visits to the London office as required with a flexible approach taken by the company to alternative arrangements and working hours.
About you
As a Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Support, and deputise for Senior Analysts as required
- Mentor more junior analysts
- Produce content for the ThreatMatch platform
- Undertake watchkeeping tasks on a rotational basis
- Ensure client ICPs are maintained and up-to-date
- Liaise with Client Engagement Managers / Collection Team as needed
- Develop expertise in a relevant intelligence field and produce research in the context of larger trends, not just the micro
- Answer client RFIs without additional support
- Identify areas of interest and develop training accordingly
Candidate Experience & Key Skills:
- Three years’ experience across all aspects of cyber threat intelligence
- Good understanding of the cyber threat landscape, particularly the activity of prominent threat actors and their different motivations and capabilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Capable of carrying out work with minimal supervision, and able to deliver products that require minimal editing
- Capable of understanding and complying with all company security policies, as well as legal and ethical constraints around open-source intelligence collection
- Familiarity with Jira (desirable)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure solutions (desirable)
- Clear and concise communicator
- Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Desirable 2nd Languages: French, German, Dutch, Russian or Mandarin
